海洋政策研究財団では、競艇交付金による日本財団の支援を受けて、海洋政策をはじめ多岐にわたる海洋問題を総合的に取り扱うシンクタンクとして様々な活動を推進しております。
さて、昨年7月の海洋基本法制定を機に、わが国でもようやく海洋・沿岸域の総合的管理を本格的に推進する取り組みが始まろうとしております。そこで、東アジア域内12ヵ国が参加した「東アジア海域環境管理パートナーシップ （PEMSEA）」において総合沿岸域管理の実践的な取り組みを主導してこられたDr.Chua氏を講師に、下記のとおり連続講義を開催しました。
