滋賀県大津市生まれ、広島大学大学院国際協力研究科教育学修士。
JICAジュニア専門員、JICAルワンダ事務所企画調査員、エジプト日本科学技術大学プロジェクト専門家、JICA人間開発部専門嘱託、京都大学研究員、JICA緒方貞子平和開発研究所リサーチオ・フィサー、日越大学プロジェクト専門家等を経て、2025年5月より現職。
