[Information] COP28 Ocean-Related Meetings (updated: Dec.9)

The United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP28, will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 30 November - 12 December 2023. The Ocean Policy Research Institute of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation (OPRI-SPF), with the support of the Nippon Foundation is a partner of the COP28 Ocean Pavilion.

Call for Participation in the International Ocean Human Resource Development Project

The Ocean Policy Research Institute (OPRI) of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation sees the development of ocean leaders who will promote the sustainable use of our ocean for the next generation as an urgent issue and is working from 2022 to support 100 young people over five years and to provide programs that will contribute to the development of the next generation of leaders in the ocean world.
