Norwegian Defence Officials Visit SPF for Security Dialogue
On Friday, August 22, the Sasakawa Peace Foundation welcomed a delegation of senior officials from the Kingdom of Norway, including State Secretary to Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Norway, Mr. Andreas Flåm and Chief of Defence General Eirik Kristoffersen, for an exchange of views on the current international security situation.

In this symposium, embassy officials from the Philippines, Nepal, and Uzbekistan, together with representatives from the Immigration Service Agency, the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO), foreign communities, and Japanese civil society, took part in presentations and discussions on the situation and challenges faced by Filipinos, Nepalese, and Uzbeks living in Japan, the initiatives of embassies and community organizations, and ways to improve systems and information-sharing to promote coexistence with foreign residents.
