This article proposes a floating container terminal, LNG receiving central transportation system, and floating nuclear electric power generation as examples of highly-functional marine floats which take advantage of interior space use and quake-absorption.Japan's ocean industry is growing and hopefully a highly-functional marine float will be increasingly utilized.
