On Friday, May 29, 2026, the Strategy and Deterrence Program, Japan-U.S. and Security Studies Unit, welcomed Dr. Arnold Kammel, Secretary General of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Defense, and his delegation. The participants held wide-ranging discussions on maritime security and the international environment and shared their perspectives.
