Over 100 participants attended a side event co-organized by the Ocean Policy Research Institute at the 50th session of the Subsidiary Body of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Germany. Expert speakers included policymakers, scientists, and think tanks participants involved in ocean climate change.

To celebrate the book launch for "The End of Nuclear Forgetting: Revival of Nuclear Weapons," the Japan-U.S. Program has organized a seminar featuring a conversation with the book's authors and a special panel discussion with two experts from the U.S.: Frank A. Rose, former Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Verification, and Compliance; and M. Elaine Bunn, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear and Missile Defense Policy.
