Project Outline
The year 2025 marks 25 years since the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 1325, the foundation of the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda. While the agenda has achieved in a great deal of work being undertaken with United Nations bodies, member states, and community and civil society organizations, women still have limited involvement in peace negotiation processes and in decision making on security in general. SPF will leverage its past experiences and network to promote policy discussions in Indonesia and the Philippines to facilitate polity discussion at national level and integrating WPS Agenda into legislation, while also sharing our experiences and insights with the global community.
