The purpose is to publish a collection of papers (twice a year in Japanese, once a year in English) as the results of academic research on sovereignty over islands and seas based on the position of international law, and to systematically organize and publish reliable primary information on the website and disseminate it to the international community to contribute to the resolution of sovereignty issues over islands and seas. The purpose of this project is to contribute to the resolution of sovereignty issues of islands and maritime areas.
