The ocean energy field is gaining more and more attention as a means towards achieving carbon neutrality, with offshore wind energy being a leading example. In order to efficiently make advances in ocean development going forward, we would need underwater IoT (visual control) to give us a clear understanding of undersea conditions. It is therefore essential that we have the equipment for high-speed wireless communications underwater. This article introduces the technology for visible light wireless communications that my company has been developing for this purpose.
