Following the Great East Japan Earthquake, 5 ship-building companies and 2 ship-equipment related businesses from Kesennuma City merged to become the nucleus of a new ship construction company. I would first like to explain our concept for solving the issues that came into view during the post-earthquake restoration of our facilities and the restoration process. Next, along with explaining the progression of events until the completion of the new ship construction facility and organization, and providing an overview of the facility, I would also like to think about the driving force behind Mirai Ships Inc.’s establishment.
