Looking back over the progress of the aquarium on the 30th anniversary of its opening and reflecting on the diverse roles it is now expected by society to play in a changing world, I would like to think about what aquariums can do for the future of the planet.

A wide variety of work is done by divers in support of marine development, including in port construction and marine development civil engineering projects. In addition to the diver’s certification required for underwater engineering operations, a variety of certifications are also needed in multiple and different types of operations, for example in slinging and gas welding. It is only after successfully completing the required training and acquiring the various certifications that a diver can embark on his career.

Unlike car trouble on land, when a pleasure boat or yacht has a problem at sea human life can be in danger. The pleasure boat rescue membership project BAN started in 1992 with only 315 members, but after expanding its service area the number of members has increased to 10,741 as of February 2020. We aim at creating an environment where the many owners of boats can enjoy a fun and safe boating life for many years to come.
