A notable feature is the Chitose River underwater observation room where one can take a look inside a natural river.This article introduces past exhibits of natural rivers along with the allure of the underwater observation room. -

When the environmental contamination and toxic implications of new harmful substance are recognized as a social problem, questions such as "Will this pollution spread on a global scale?" and "How fast this will spread and what may be the future trends of pollution?" are raised by experts and government agencies.For the past 40 years, environmental and biological samples collected by Ehime University from many parts of the world and cryopreserved have enabled the estimation of such chemicals in relation to time and space.
