The Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF) forges Stronger ties with the Caribbean Region

The Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) at the foundation’s building in Tokyo. SPF was represented by President Atsushi Sunami while the OECS was represented by Ms. Susanna De Beauville-Scott, Programme Director of the Sustainable Ocean Management Programme.

The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation, with reference to the alignment of OECS and SPF’s strategic priorities, under which collaborative activities and projects can be undertaken. The areas of cooperation identified include:

- Institutional Strengthening and Visibility
