Ocean sensing and platform technologies are already implemented world-widely. However, the ocean data is still fragmented and have not been used well to understand and solve various ocean issues. Big data building and multi dimension analysis is the key for digital transformation in the ocean policy making. This symposium focuses on how we can obtain/classify/distribute ocean big data for making marine policy.
