Project Outline
This project seeks to strengthen bilateral relations with India and drive collaborative efforts to enhance security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region. By sharing insights on a potential Taiwan contingency and exploring joint activities, this project aims to establish a broader range of policy options for Japan and India in relation to Taiwan and ultimately improve response capabilities. As a private-sector research foundation, SPF has the freedom to engage with a wide range of research exchange programs and contribute to policy formulation in both Japan and India. This includes international conferences and discussions, primarily in India, which will produce reports and findings that help to inform the general public and promote bilateral initiatives.
