Courtesy Visit by Major General Huangfu Qunxing, Embassy of the People's Republic of China

On March 31, 2022, Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF) President Atsushi Sunami received a courtesy call from Major General Huangfu Qunxing from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China.

In response to exchanges being suspended between Japan and China due to the impact of COVID-19, both sides acknowledged the significance of deepening mutual understanding between nations. The two parties also shared views on the potential for cooperation across a wide range of fields including defense exchanges and next-generation exchanges.
