Participants from RUSI, members from Japanese government and academia, as well as the representatives from the diplomatic community in Tokyo, engaged in a wide-ranging discussion about future security challenges in the Indo-Pacific.

First of nine reports based on extensive survey data from conflict-affected regions in Indonesia and the Philippines
A launch event for the report “Beyond Engaging Men: Masculinity, (Non)Violence, and Peacebuilding” by the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security (GIWPS) in collaboration with SPF’s Peacebuilding Program was held at UN Headquarters. The event welcomed a distinguished roster of experts and government representatives from the Japan and the U.S., demonstrating the breadth of the commitment to Women, Peace and Security Agenda from both countries.

"WHOLE" Film Screening and Cross Talks with Producer and Key Actors
In collaboration with Kobe Foreigners Friendship Center, SPF held a screening of "WHOLE," which honestly depicts the complexities of identity and feelings toward Japanese society through the daily lives of "half" youth, as well as cross talks (discussions) with the director and key actors. This event aimed to deepen the meaning of "self-support" for citizens with foreign roots to support each other by feeling and understanding "differences" that were not only expressed in words but also transmitted and expressed by the people concerned.
