Project Outline
Examining ways to achieve deterrence amid an anticipated growth in nuclear threats calls for urgent attention by Japan and other global powers interested in maintaining the status quo.
By identifying various topics and challenges associated with this issue, including analysis of the dynamics of both nuclear and non-nuclear escalation, this project seeks to contribute to new policy formulation while also deepening understanding among both officials and experts working in the field of Japan’s security.
