In recognition of the heightened risk of nuclear weapon use as a result of factors including Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, this project seeks to explore ways in which international nuclear arms control can eliminate this risk, identifying specific measures that can be adopted. The project also intends to present the results of this work to the Japanese government and to international institutions including the United Nations.
