Enhancing National Cyber Security Ⅱ
FY2024
Implementing Agency | Sasakawa Peace Foundation |
---|---|
Year | Third year of a three-year project |
Project Type | Self Operated |
Budget | 18,900,000 yen |
Project Outline
This project, which features research in the relatively new domain of cybersecurity, seeks to identify key policy issues for future debate and discussion while also laying the groundwork for developing solutions. The two main areas of focus for the current fiscal year are (1) new research into active cyber defense and (2) ongoing discussion around research into disinformation in the Indo-Pacific region.
By providing a forum for information sharing and debate, we hope to sound the alarm and encourage government action on the policy issues and solutions thus identified, with the ultimate aim of enhancing the security environment for Japan.
