This project seeks to identify issues on how to deal with the Taiwan Strait Crisis through table top exercises (TTX) conducted in Japan, based on scenarios of the Taiwan Strait Crisis developed with U.S. researchers. In particular, we will identify problems in the security policy decision-making process and military strategy of the concerned countries and regions, including Japan, and summarize solutions in the form of policy recommendations to be shared with relevant parties. Through these activities, we will contribute to the improvement of Japan’s defense and regional security.
