Project Outline
In recent years, the strategic significance of Okinawa, particularly the Nansei Islands, has been increasing, underscoring the need to establish awareness of the international situation surrounding Japan to better inform public opinion.
In order to cultivate future leaders with a firm grounding in security issues concerning Okinawa Prefecture, which occupies a geopolitically important position, this project provides training programs for mid-level leaders of the prefecture, thereby providing information on international affairs and security. The project also holds a public seminar on security issue in Okinawa prefecture.
