Project Outline
This project researches issues concerning the island nations in the Indo-Pacific region, the roles of these islands in maritime security, comprehensive development strategies, and specific support policies. In addition, this project aims to support effective policymaking by Japan and other countries by sharing information through the publication of research results and conferences attended by government officials of relevant nations, all with the ultimate goal of maintaining the security of the Indo-Pacific region and encouraging stable development of the region’s island nations.
