This project strives to define the significance of the Japan–U.S. alliance as a “Global Commons”of the regional and international community and Japan's roles in the alliance. The research tries to identify options of operations which will be conducted in "situations" declared by the Japanese Government, based on Scenario-flow. The regional and implicational range must be extended to the study of the U.S.-Japan alliance.
