◆About the book
Since April 2015, the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, in collaboration with the International IDEA (The International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance), began a research project on the efforts in increasing a number of women in parliaments in different countries for the purpose of achieving diversity in political leadership. This book is a part of such project and translated a chapter from the Funding of Political Parties and Election Campaigns: A Handbook on Political Finance published by the International Idea in 2014. This book aims to explain how political fund-raising is relevant to women's participation in politics.
