SPF, as a platform, will facilitate Track 1.5 and Track 2 dialogues between Pacific island countries and Japan containing frank discussions among actors in the public and private sectors. Through such dialogues, this project aims to deepen mutual understanding and strengthen the genuine partnerships for tackling issues in the Pacific islands region and international society. Furthermore, by providing analysis and recommendations from its unique perspectives as a think tank of Pacific islands regional policies, the foundation seeks to contribute to Japan's policies toward Pacific island countries.
