Project Outline
In order to increase the effectiveness of the Japanese government’s strategy for the regional security of the Pacific islands, this project will produce policy recommendations based on analysis of security and defense policies and relevant initiatives in the Pacific islands region. Furthermore, this project will work to strengthen the relationships between regional organizations including the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) and SPF.
