Project Outline
This project takes a multifaceted approach to strengthening the foundations of human connections by building a network with American opinion leaders, dispatching Japanese opinion leaders to the U.S., and strengthening cooperation and relationships among organizations. Through these approaches and activities, this project seeks to establish a closer network of experts and institutions between Japan and the United States that leads to an understanding of “changes in the United States,” “Japan-U.S. relations in a diversifying diplomatic and security environment,” and “the changing international order and the roles of Japan and the United States,” as well as to the ideas regarding new partnerships and collaboration between the two countries in a shifting world.
