Project Outline
This project aims to help U.S. Congress members and senior congressional staff deepen their understanding of Japan and the importance of Japan-U.S. relations, to strengthen and expand the professional network between U.S. Congress members and their Japanese counterparts in the Diet and between their respective staff members, and to build confidence and a relationship based on shared trust. This project is carried out in collaboration with U.S. organizations seeking to deepen the understanding of Japan in the halls of the U.S. Congress, laying the groundwork for bilateral channels of communication conducive to future collaboration on policy issues.
