Peacebuilding in Practice|Harsha Kumara Navaratne and Atsushi Sunami on Sri Lanka and Japan

How is lasting peace built on the ground? In the final episode of the series, Mr. Harsha Kumara Navaratne, Chairman of the Sevalanka Foundation in Sri Lanka, is joined by Dr. Atsushi Sunami, President of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation. Together, they discuss the ongoing challenges of reconciliation in post-conflict societies, and explore why new, locally rooted and youth-focused approaches are essential for lasting peace. Dr. Sunami also introduces the launch of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation’s Center for Mediation Support in April 2026.
