Project Outline
This project examines the needs of people who are forced to evacuate or relocate due to natural disasters or climate-related and other environmental changes in Asia, and seeks to identify the challenges this poses to the communities to which they move. We will create policy proposals with comprehensive measures for adapting to climate change that draw on Japan’s own experience with disaster prevention.
