Project Outline
Entrepreneurial Support Organizations (ESOs) in Myanmar have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, which in many cases has caused them to suspend their activities. However, entrepreneurs are in need of support now more than ever. To build entrepreneurial support ecosystem back better, this project aims to establish an entrepreneurial support system with a gender lens, providing support to promising small and growing businesses (SGBs) in order to prepare them for growth opportunities, future investment and achieving greater social impact. By incorporating a gender lens into these efforts, this project aims to develop a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable entrepreneurial support system. In addition, building networks among mentors and investors through this project will create an opportunity for more comprehensive support of SGBs.
