The Sasakawa Japan-China Friendship Program has searched for ways to share information and explored measures to help resolve common issues between Japan and China, namely depopulation of rural areas and population aging. This project exists aims to provide opportunities for people on the front lines of regional development in Japan and China to exchange information and share their experiences, build networks and promote mutual understanding, and apply the results to local communities in both countries. The program will use the results of its many years of talent development to help expand these networks.
