While there is a need to explore the broader development of people-to-people exchange in the new post-pandemic phase of Japan-China relations, the Sasakawa Japan-China Friendship Program, which has a directory of Japan-China exchange organizations, will conduct additional research to acquire detailed information on the relevant organizations and serve as a starting point for exchange between organizations in Japan, thereby updating the Japanese organizations’ information about exchange with China. The program will conduct multifaceted joint research and analysis of Japan-China exchange over the past half-century to elucidate the efforts of the leaders of this type of exchange, even amid the challenges of current international circumstances.
