While it is difficult for the foundation to share information with people in China via our website, this project’s current focus is on maintaining, and where possible strengthening, our working relationship with the People’s Daily, the main media outlet in China, in an effort to maintain the flow of information to Chinese-speaking countries. We will also be looking to deliver news and updates more efficiently, for instance through joint events where we can pool our collective resources. We will use the Chinese-language Sasakawa Japan-China Friendship Program’s website to provide news and updates throughout the Chinese-speaking world on the work of SPF and others in China, along with retrospectives on past projects. In this way, we will endeavor to present a Japanese perspective to Chinese-speaking readers.
