Project Outline
By facilitating dialogues among experts, civil society stakeholders, and policymakers, this project aims to address the diverse needs of populations in Japan and Asia in order to create practical solutions to common issues. To date, this project has convened workshops with local partners in Singapore, Fukuoka, and Vietnam to discuss topics such as aging in Asia, and shared knowledge and best practices of different countries in the region. Moving forward, SPF will arrange dialogues about gender equality and women’s empowerment in the region, with a particular focus on the pay gap between men and women as well as the role of businesses and the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
