SPF and the Human Rights Working Group (Indonesia) co-conducted a research on Covid-19 response measures and challenges faced by migrant workers in 7 destination countries and regions in Asia, namely Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

SPF has worked on the issue of rapid population ageing in Asia for three years since 2016. One of the efforts is to conduct a case study on community-based care for older persons. The results are compiled into a report titled “Community-based Care for Older Persons: Implication from China, Korea, and Vietnam.”

"Women, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Empowerment" Published

This book is a result of a collaborative research project between Iran and Japan that focuses on women’s entrepreneurship. The joint research on women and entrepreneurship is the first phase of the project, and it aims to promote a dialogue on the topic, and possibly to distil relevant policies for both countries

Report for the Study on Creating New Roles for Men in Gender Equality

As one of the efforts in achieving gender equality, SPF established the “Research Committee on the New Role of Men” and explored the defining factors of men’s participation in household work and child rearing for 3 years since 2016. The result of the findings are described in this report.
