Project Outline
With bilateral relations between Japan and India taking on ever greater importance, there are increasing calls to open new Japan-India strategic dialogues and discussions. The basic foundations of mutual understanding and respect are still seen as somewhat weak and superficial in both quality and quantity. This makes the establishment of new Japan-India strategic dialogues and discussions particularly urgent as a means of enhancing mutual understanding between the two countries in the modern era.
By providing opportunities for direct dialogue between political leaders from both nations, this project encourages the development of an effective framework for building closer bilateral ties across a range of fields.
