Project Outline
The world continues to be beset by wars and disputes. In order to break the cycle of conflict, we need the next generation of young people to take active ownership of the peace process.
This project is designed as a collaborative learning initiative that transcends national, ethnic, religious, and other differences with the goal of bringing young people together to share experiences of conflict and rebuilding from around the world, including the bombing and reconstruction of Hiroshima in Japan. In this way, thus project creates people-to-people networks that will serve as the foundation for peace and stability in Asia in the mid- to long-term.
