Project Outline
Since 2016, the Sasakawa Peace Foundation has worked with the Iranian Vice Presidency for Women and Family Affairs on a joint project to support the social participation of women in Iran. We have developed two themes, “Women Entrepreneurs in Iran and Japan” and “Women’s Economic Empowerment through the Use of ICT,” and conducted a comparative analysis of case studies from Japan and Iran in the area of women’s economic empowerment. This project will develop a new joint action plan with the aforementioned Vice Presidency to further share knowledge and support personnel exchanges.
