With the increasing number of inbound visitors to Japan as well as workers from abroad, the need for an accurate understanding of Islam in Japan is imperative. This project offers a series of lectures on Islam to a wider Japanese audience including local government officials, experts, members of the public, and media in order to promote accurate knowledge and understanding of Islam and to contribute to the development of an inclusive society where Japanese and non-Japanese people, including Muslims, can live together.
