Targeting East Asia (Japan, South Korea, and China) and Southeast Asia (Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines), countries where population ageing is progressing at different rates, this project examines Japan’s experiences and lessons learned from having experienced population ageing ahead of its Asian neighbors, with the aim of presenting specific solutions to issues likely to emerge in these countries as well.
