Project Outline

As a result of the Indian government’s Act East policy, the country’s eight northeastern states, which link South and Southeast Asia, have been attracting strong attention from inside and outside the country due to their potential value. This project creates a platform to bring together experts from those states and promotes continuous and active intellectual exchange and dialogue, with the aim of contributing to comprehensive, sustainable development that takes advantage of the region’s rich natural resources, as well as its enormous biological and cultural diversity.
