EEZ Long-distance Monitoring by Use of the Ocean Acoustic Technique

Not only survey but also real-time monitoring is critical for the EEZ strategic management.The EEZ monitoring is important for national defense regarding the invasion of suspicious boats as well as from the viewpoint of climate and resource change predictions. This article proposes a large-scale monitoring method of ocean space which uses the ocean acoustic tomography. -

Application of satellite information for weather forecast is very famous. But, it is not so popular to find fish schools in the ocean by utilizing satellite information.Fishermen look for the places where there is a lot of fish school such as warm-core rings (warm eddies) and warm streamers in the satellite imagery.Utilizing of satellite information will be able to make more effective fishing operation, and at the same time it become also to economizing on fuel oil of fishing boats.

Marine forests in reefs are decaying, and disappearing and denuded coastal water bodies are increasing globally.Coastal water bodies that can form marine forests are narrowing because of global warming and Tropical herbivorous fishes as wall as herbivorous benthic animals such as sea urchins are moving northward and cutting down marine forests.Accompanying the establishment of a new regeneration technique, this is the opportunity to combine the wisdom of mankind and block global warming.
