Recollections of Kujukuri Beach's Vanishing Beach Erosion Map
Yoshiro KosekiPhotographer
When I first held a camera, the Kujukuri Beach of today was absolutely unthinkable. I couldn't imagine that the beach and dunes would vanish. This 50 years, I have taken many pictures and I feel chagrined that all of these - the beautiful beach, various climates, people who have come to live here and their day-to-day life - will be lost. However, I believe that it is important to continue maintaining records so I continue photographing.
