Topography of Kuba Island

Kuba Island is a round, volcanic island with two or three slight rises. The highest point of 118 meters is in the center of the island. Apart from one or two sandy beaches, the coast consists of rocky walls. There are almost no coral reefs around the island and the deep soil for them has not sufficiently developed. (Ref. 1)

Note: Elevations given are based on the surveys of the time. (For current data, see "The Senkaku Islands: Location, Area, and Other Geographical Data.")
