Implementation of ICM at model sites

As for the second research phase, OPRI supported the ICM model sites' smooth transition from the initial stage to a self-sustaining stage.

Evaluation and Analysis of Challenges, Issues and Effects

We evaluate and analyze the challenges of implementing ICM in communities as well as the effects obtained. We support the identification and organization of the challenges to be solved by introducing ICM on site. Specifically, we help local communities 1) define the range and characteristics of the target coastal area, 2) identify issues that need to be addressed in ICM, and 3) examine necessary methods, information, systems, etc. to address the above issues.

Form of Support and Policy Proposals

We study the form of support to promote community implementation of ICM and make necessary policy proposals to the national government based on the study results.
