The Sasakawa Peace Foundation organizes the Seminar Series presented by ambassadors to promote mutual understanding between foreign countries and Japan. On this occasion we are delighted to welcome His Excellency Dr. Ghanim Al-Jumaily, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq. H. E. Ambassador Al-Jumaily will speak about the current situation in Iraq and cooperation between Iraq and Japan after the withdrawal of the US military. H. E. Ambassador Al-Jumaily’s diplomatic service in Tokyo will finish at the end of March and he will return to Bagdad. During his presentation, he will also discuss the reconstruction process of Iraq.
