By securing maritime law enforcement officers in the Republic of Palau and building the capabilities of their personnel, this project aims to ensure the effective operations of the small-scale and medium-scale patrol boats provided by The Nippon Foundation and contributes to strengthening Palau’s maritime security capabilities. In addition to Palau, on-site training will be conducted in the Federated States of Micronesia and the Marshall Islands, with the ultimate goal of building the capacity of maritime security personnel across the entire Micronesia region.
